
Ingredients
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) vegetable oil
- 1 package 350 g duBreton Korean BBQ pork strips
- 1 carrot, peeled and beveled
- 250 ml (1 cup) broccoli florets
- 180 ml (3/4 cup) Korean BBQ sauce
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) sesame oil
- 500 ml (2 cups) cooked rice
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) minced green onion
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) sesame seeds
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) water
Preparations
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté pork and cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes, until browned. Set pork aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, add onion and carrot and cook until tender.
- Add the broccoli florets and continue cooking for about 3 minutes.
- Pour in the Korean sauce and sesame oil.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Return the pork strips to the pan and reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Reheat the rice and serve as an accompaniment to the stir-fry.
- Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
